Bodog $200 max $1/$2 blinds

I'm dealt Ad-Jd in the CO. 3 limps to me so I limp. Every other player limps in until the BB, who checks.

Flop: Ac-Qh-3h
Pot: $14

Checks to me and I lead for $14 because these guys are a bunch of calling stations and I want to charge the max here (of course, I could overbet, but I usually leave that for the turn). The button raises and makes it $28 to go and has me covered (and I started the hand with a full $200 stack). Folds back to me. What would be your play here? I ended up making it $84 to go and the button shoved in. Pretty clear fold here? I don't even have TPTK so I can't really call off my stack in an unraised pot even if the only 2 pair I can imagine being out is A-3. I guess 3-3 isn't out of the question but I think those are the only 2 hands I can put my opponent on if I think I'm beat. I haven't played with him enough to know if he would play a pair and a flush draw or 2 suited broadway cards (hearts obviously) like this. Was my re-raise a poor play?

Thats a really easy fold. I dont think I wouldve reraised. I probably wouldve folded. he might make that raise with AT if hes crazy, but other than that, I think any other hand he could have is beating you.

Is Bodog a Prima site?

I don't mind your reraise here. I think that's a much better play then a call. You got your answer when he pushed in..so now it's an easy fold. Theres nothing wrong with an outright fold either. Out of position iwth a medicore hand like AJ is never a good thing.

Perhaps you should have raised preflop in LP with your AJ? I know that's what I would have done. Not sure it would have helped you in this situation anyway...but just a thought. Maybe get rid of some limpers and avoid similuar situations.

I think your re-raise here is very bad against just about any sort of player. What can you possibly be beating, and knowing that the guy has a hand he's raising, how can you possibly play for your stack here? You threw away your $84 on a pretty poor hand IMO.

I think it's worth the $14 to call here. A fair amount of players will raise with ANY ace, seeing as to how Bob was in LP when he bet. If the turn blanks I think it is alright for him to lead out for a small amount again in hopes of getting a cheap river/showdown, or he can check. Either way if button shows aggression on the turn it's an easy fold, but I don't like folding here without much information.

Kennyg, raising in LP with A-J isn't that bad, but my concern was that I was going to get called by each of the limpers. Bodog is like PP with a 100BB structure so you can bet that everyone would come along for the ride. With calling stations of the kind that I can play with I can't really win a pot with an unimproved A-J even with position a lot of the time so I thought it would be better to limp.

I felt that after my opponent shoved in there is no way in hell I can call, I was just wondering what people thought of my re-raise. Like some pointed out, going into the turn I am out of position so I feel that raising or folding is the only play here. Calling is horrifically weak. If this was a poker quiz I think folding outright would probably be the best option with re-raising second best while calling comes in last.
