Wow, you hit a great flop. You have to jam that. Three good reasons:
1) No-one in PLO25 is dropping a set of anything on the flop. I wouldn't worry about that.
2) If BOTH players have low-orientated cards, you may be able to get rid of one of them and counterfeit the other for low; your awful low feature may just scoop you the pot if the board turns and river throws out a deuce. Probably won't against two players, though.
3) Charge the draws man, jeez... That's an awfully cheap card to give to anyone who has TKQ and a 9 outer to a scooping nut hand.
If there's a flush draw out and you don't have anything going low, calling actually becomes a promising move because your hand (despite being the temporary nuts) becomes rather weak and needs a lot of help to enable you to go to the felt. Pushing all in here with no low draw and only a set for high with a draw-heavy board is a nice way to give someone a virtual freeroll.
Slow playing in PLO8 when there's a two to a low and you don't have any sort of low is not a very good play. I think you kinda got what you deserved
mind you... I bet at $25 they'd both have called anyhow, so perhaps it didn't really matter in this instance. That's a LITTLE bit of consolation, at least!
