1st hand - would fold here unless PT GTW tells me the dude is very LAG preflop (maybe 40%+ VPIP and 20% or so PFR, with lots of big raises and some re-raises thrown in) in which case i'd play QQ for my stack. If the player is unknown I would probably fold, some would call with no other infot at 25nl.

2nd hand - again, totally dependent on your opponents. If they are both goobers I'd play for my stack getting 2-1 on my money and hope they have something like AJ and QQ between them. What was pokertracker telling you?

In the absence of any info on the players, I think the first hand is a close fold, and the second is a slightly less close fold.

I'd just sat down at both tables so had no info at all about them. Yesterday I got all-in (again) with KK pre-flop in a similar situation to the 1st hand - and the guy had AA. I've got all-in with KK 3 times in 1600 hands at NL: 2 i got in pre-flop and was v AA both times; the other I pushed on the flop and the guy had trip 8's. KK sucks!

This seems excessive...

Sorry about the pun, but I don't think that watching a Party NL$25 tables really prepares you for much except maybe a read on two players tops. I have found(at least during my times that I play) that the players constantly bounce from one game to another at an alarming rate making it almost impossible to have notes for even half your table for a three hour or longer session...I will get to a point where I have taken notes down on 20 people at a table and not be playing any of those people at the end of the session...maybe that is laziness on my part(I could definitely pay more attention to my note-taking, but I do take down info on at least 20 players every 2 hour+ session playing two tables)

I don't think waiting half an hour on a table will get you any sort of bonus if everyone you took notes on is gone ten minutes after you sit down. I have always found the greatest advantage with the note taking to be when I am facing an opponent for the second, third or fourth time at a table or I joined a player who is on my buddy list.

I don't call an all in preflop w/ QQ. I gave it up after sucking out AA twice...figured I was due for a big run of pain. I don't like the AK against two opponents either...one could have you significantly beaten with your drawing hand, and I am almost sure one has you beaten already, if only by a small percentage.

I understand why people would be willing to call you with lesser holdings when you play with a short stack...playing the NL 25 PP tables, you get to see alot of people push in their tiny stacks w/ Queen or Jack high. Ain't it great?
