I probably won't bet the flop, simply because this game sounds like the type where people call with any type of backdoor flush draw, gutshot draw, etc. I think you can check and still get plenty of action if you make your draw on the turn - if not, you only invested $5 in the pot after all. Depending on the table, if they are passive enough and if they aren't total calling stations, you could put in a decent-sized raise preflop. You are in position, there is quite a bit of dead money preflop, you have the lead in the hand, and any time you make a big hand they won't be able to read you for it at all. Either way, you probably can't go wrong at a table like this, and yes, I definately like the follow-up bet on the turn. You played it 100% like a set and anyone else that was drawing was getting incorrect odds to hit.
