fold to the button who is an aggressive regular ill call him villan
villan raises to 30, I think for a minute and just call. I did this for a few reasons, if I miss the flop its an easy fold but if I hit it I will make a lot more. BB folds

I check villan bets 50, I hesitate and call
Turn: 9
I check again he bets 70, I reraise to 160 he flat calls
River: 4
I go all in for around 150 he calls and mucks

When he put in a $200 bet on the flop I knew he didnt want a heart to come, thats why I went all in over the top.

The first hand I think you played perfectly

The second one I think I wouldve bet the flop, but the way you played is ok too. The only problem is that you have no folding equity becuase your stack is so short. Hes going to call with any high heart or any str8 draw. I dont think it mattered much what you did against this fool though.

You aren't beat in hand 1 unless he has AA or KK. So I think it's acceptable to slowplay, although with your shorter stack you could have gotten all your money in before the river if you played it a little bit faster.

In hand 2, I think you should have lead out for $200. This way he has incorrect odds if he has a heart and he knows you are playing for your stack.

Also, why are you playing with a shortstack in both hands?

Well I have the roll for the game, but I'm new to the limit... kind of just testing it out

Playing a short stack is OK if you know how to make the necessary adjustments to playing a short stack. Most people dont and play like they always do. Of course most people stink too but thats a whole different story.
