Loved this tournament hand :)

A few hands after the break in a rebuy tourney. There are no more rebuys allowed.

This guy i got tangled with was one of those players that thinks he's really good, giving people advice and crap.

blinds are 75/150. 200 players left after it started with 250. I'm dealt [Ad][5d] on the button.

1 limper to me and i limp on the button. I normally raise here but the limper was a known limp reraiser so i decided to play conservative.

Blinds complete and check.

FLOP 600
[4s][8c][Tc]

Checked to me...I decide to throw 600 to try and take the nice pot. I have 1400 left after this bet.
To my dismay..the BB calls but everyone else folds.

TURN 1800
[4s][8c][Tc][Jh]

BB checks, I check.

RIVER
[4s][8c][Tc][Jh][5h]

BB instantly puts me all-in. I decide to call...was pretty sure he was on the flush draw.

He shows [7c][4c] and I take it down.

After this..the whole table called me an idiot and an "amatuer." haha I don't think I've ever smiled so big. I asked them if they felt better berating me and everyone started to laugh.

I told them that the last time I played the tourney i got 3rd place. No one beleived me (though it was true), then I told the guy I beat to watch the final table later....which I was on. :) got 6th place.

My original plan was to check that turn, then move all-in on the river barring a club. I figured he was on a flush draw the entire time. I knew he would call the turn bet to try and hit the flush...so I'd move in on the river when he was weakest. When I paired up on the river and he moved in so quickly, it was obvious to me that I had the winning hand.

I just thought it was hilarous this guy was calling me an ametuer... if only he knew :)
hope you enjoyed this hand!
