Saturday started out early, or late, when I joined the $10 3:15am on Pokerstars. I had already been up since 5:30 Friday morning so it was getting a little late but I figured a nightcap MTT couldn't hurt.
I won't go into detail but I ended up doing a 4 way chop in this tourney. I'm normally not up for those deals in a smaller tourney but my logic was: 1) I WAS TIRED 2) I was second place (behind CL by about half) 3) Anyone could win this thing as blinds are high.
I take a chip chop which gave me $1060 and essentially second place money. The other two got about 100 and 200 less than myself and the CL took about 500 less than first. Given my situation I was happy to chop it up.
The next morning I get woke up early (for going to bed at 8am) and go through my Saturday list of crap to get done. I get in the $20 MTT on FTP and end up making the final there but go out in 8th (I was short stacked). Later that nite I enter the $20 MTT on FTP and go to the FT with a nice stack. I lost a big hand with AQ vs someones T7o (barf) and donked away the rest of my short stack to get 5th for ~$350.
It's late once again and my eyes are starting to close but (pissed off) about my exit in the $20 I decide I want to end the night with a SNG.
Now, on FTP I guess there are only 11 guys playing SNG's because I signed up for a $50+5 with 3 already in it and waited forever for the thing to fill up. I got in this one because 4-5 were playing and the people signed up where the ones already out of the other SNG's. I figured they liked to push early or gamble and it looked appealing to me. So as I waited for this thing to start I was watching some TV while in bed (computer is off on a desk next to bed) and I fell asleep! I couldn't believe it when I woke up the next morning and I realized that I just threw away $55. You could imagine my surprise when I discovered I blinded my way into 3rd! I guess picking the right table could work for a monkey to be a winning player!
I ended the night up ~$1500 having made 3 final tables in a day and cashing in a $50 SNG while sleeping. Who says nothing ever goes right in this game?
