As much as I like Limit Holdem I think I would tell anyone that just wants to play poker for a little recreation and to make a little extra cash to learn how to play PLO8. The idiocy factor in these games is nearly off the charts. I get a real sadistic pleasure freerolling these chumps with their naked A2's. That said I had a slight losing morning at the tables while clearing a bonus. It took flopping the nut full house with QQ on a board of QJJ and getting beat by quad Jacks to do it but it can happen

Another long day at the grind but I am actually enjoying this change of pace with PLO8. Lost another big pot when my set of Aces got gunned down by a set of 6's when he hit quads on the river after all the money got put in on the turn. So twice today fell victim to the quads for two stack losses but still managed a positive day. I guess I am just a bonus thrashing machine. Halfway through another two bonuses. I honestly believe that I can clear about 4K this month in bonuses alone playing 25 PLO8. At that scale there is definately something to be said for Bonus Whoring If you can't build a roll from scratch this month with all of these free dollars floating around then something is definately amiss.

I am double dipping alot of things because my wife has an account at most sites as well.

4435.00 bonus ca. 72,800 raked hands plus a 10 hour day clearing the cryptos. A shitload of hours. Probably 10-12 a day but it is possible if you put in the time. My early slacking this month will probably limit me from getting them all but I plan to give it a try. At 25 PLO8 about 82% of the hands are raked. I may up that to the 50 PLO8 game were probably 95% are raked. It is a shitload of hours but for someone that really wanted to bite the bullet and get a decent BR built the opportunity is there.

i posted this over at bw, but this may be useful (if not already obvious) to you and/or others comtemplating one or more of these bonuses.

if you don't think you can take down one or more of the big bonuses at multi, it is possible to buy-in for less than the maximum. i know that i couldn't play 30k hands, much less 60k, so this would take some of the edge off. i'm a part-timer, so i am doing mine in $50 bonus increments after the initial $100.

i only mention it due to the fact that it would suck to have to get in x thousand hands in the last few days of the month to clear a bonus that is bigger than you want or need.

mecos, i imagine that this would be an easy way to get some extra dough in your pocket this month. it'd pay for at least the foreplay with your favorite vegas transvestite plaything.

Finally got to lay some waste to the fools carrying their naked A2's tonight. 3/4 and 4/6th up a few pots for a change. Played another 2h15m and 540 hands for an additional 79.44

Some milestones reached for the year as today is my 200th winning day versus 16 losses (a couple I would really like to forget about in there). Winning streak stands at 79 days.

The early morning session just sucked. My hands missed and I played like a damn stooge which pisses me off.
