I will be playing at Multi on 1 table and Empire on 4. I signed up for an additional 400 of the bonuses at Multi that I should be able to work off while playing 1 table during this time. My rake return at Empire is roughly 50.00 per 1000 hands at 5-10 limit so it is more advantageous to play 4 tables there and only 1 at Multi as it would take ca. 2500 hands to clear a 100.00 bonus at multi.

Well made a very short appearance at the charity tournament :lol: Played a little over an hour more in the PLO8 game and have about 1 more to go to clear the bonus there. Perhaps later tonight I will finish that up as well as the two remaining Cryptos.

Managed to gather the energy to finish off the Cryptos. Still about 1 hour left on the Multi but that will probably have to wait until tomorrow because I am beat and I haven't done much of anything today. Well on a bright note I finally reached earning 20K for the year but on a sour note I was at nearly 10K in early March but in this profession sometimes shit happens and sometimes it's in the form of diarrhea and so it was in March and May. :twisted:

Finished up the straggling bonus on my second Mulitpoker account so I am planning on firing up the 5-10 games in a little while as soon as I get the money in the right accounts.

Played a short afternoon session of 5-10 just to get back in the swing of things at that level. Nothing really dramatic, took a couple of beats and delivered a couple as well.

Played another afternoon session and had pretty good results in the PLO8 tables and made another small win in just a few hands of 5-10 limit. Also connected my regular computer monitor with my laptop so with two screens I am ready to start multitabling on a more extreme level. Waiting until I get PT downloaded on the laptop because it will definately be needed with GT+ to help me keep track of 8 to 10 tables. Looking forward to seeing how it goes.

Did I miss read the first page of this journal or have you really not had a losing day in 3.5 MONTHS!!!!???? Not even ONE???!!! Holy Crap!!!! Great job!!

But I do have to wonder if maybe you aren't leaving a LOT of money on the table by not playing a higher limit that although may be more challenging would probably also mean more money in your pocket. I know if I hadn't lost in 3.5 months I'd sure feel like I wasn't playing at a level anywhere near my ability. I know you play lower than your ability for BR safety reasons but with a winning streak like that I think you are maybe being too cautious. Then again, it must be nice to never have the mental stress that a losing day can deliver.

Whatever it is you're doing, keep it up man!

Well Done,
Derek

Yeah I have been on a nice streak and also been clearing alot of bonuses along the way. If I can win today that will be 85 straight days and I am off to a good start with a little action after midnight. With some assistance from Norton got my regular monitor hooked up to my laptop so that I could expand the number of tables I was playing. Tried out 8 at the 3-6 level and didn't have too much problems at all except for a little less chatting time. Played over 450 hands in 55 minutes and averaged over 6 BB/100 so that is definately a nice start to the new setup and took probably 100 worth of beatings from some suckouts on the last lap. I wish I had taken advantage of more of those Multi reloads now as I should be able to bust through the next 4 with no problem. Did manage to clear one of those as well during this session for another 100.00. Also got to play a little with TW, Norton and BK so that was nice to have a little BTP warmth at the tables and it is always fun to pick off a blind steal from TW with some piece of garbage :P

Kind of a tumultuous morning session although I was never down much. Playing 8 tables is not that difficult while it is going but it is definately going to cut down on the length of each session. Played slightly over another hour and made about 75.00. The BB/100 is setting at 3.94. I don't think I will be able to keep that pace but even at 2.5 that is about 75.00/hr playing 36 limit at 8 tables which ain't too shabby.

Played a couple of short afternoon sessions between making some cornbread and putting my drunk chicken in the oven. The first was a session of 6 tabling the PLO8 tables and I made a little bit. The last was another 8 table session of 36 where I was down right off then up pretty good then took just a flurry of beats with runner runner flushes, straight draws etc. and decided to call the session with a modest win. So far I am winning 16 of the 24 sessions which is a pretty good clip. The BB/100 has dropped a little to 3.41. The hourly wage is sitting at a very nice 99.91. Pretty damn sweet. One thing that I have noticed during these sessions of 36 is that the folks are super aggressive which I don't mind because I have been pounding them into submission with a flurry of check raises.

BR requirement for 3-6 limit
------------------------------------
BR = -(43.5032 squared/2*15.81)*(-6.9077)
BR = 413.34

Well this is a ludicrously low number and will change as I have more sessions to add to the equation but in and of itself says something for playing extremely tight preflop as your variance is greatly decreased.

Gawd damn the pushing man. Found myself in a serious anti-rush as I started the morning sessions. Was probably down 300 or so spread across 8 tables but went on a flurry of whoopass to making an astounding 13.25 this morning.
