I flopped the second to nuts. with no read, unless he's a total moron, he at least has top set and since he raised preflop, it still doesn't elminate AJxx. Is this just too weak of me? I probably should have just lead out for the pot bet and fold if raised? what do I do if called?

This one, i guess i should have raised the turn to gain info.

hand 1 fine, your fold is good i think as you are probably drawing dead and have no backdoor flush possibilities
hand 2 raise the turn and check call the river or check fold franckly depends if the player is a moron or not

I like leading the first hand, your two pair is a great blocker to any sets, so a caller likely has either the same straight or a set (which you're well ahead of), and obviously if someone raises you can muck.

Hand 2 I disagree with raising the turn. If you're going to put in one more pot-sized bet, it should be on the river, no matter what falls, because if he's got the goods you'll lose it either way, but if he's bluffing you'll snare an extra bet on the river (whereas if you raise the turn you won't gain that bet). Also, if you let a river fall, you could always make the bet as a lead if the flush falls, and maybe bluff him off a higher straight (it's an option though here I don't think I'd try that line).
