Monster day
Current mood: happy
Well after another bad run, I decided to leave Prima for a while. I always go crawling back there eventually, but I needed a change of scenery. Can only take bad beats so many times.
Here's a list of them from my last day there, if you're curious:

So I switched to Bodog today. I deposited $2000, and they promptly gave me a $400 bonus. How nice of you Bodog, I kiss you.
I decided to hell with it, and jumped on three 2/4NL tables. I figured it's time to move up and I just needed to get it over with. The fear of losing lots of money is real, but I know I'll handle it eventually.
Anyway, the first 45 minutes of play were littered with bad beat after bad beat. It was amazing. I lost to 3 and 4 outers repeatedly (Sorry about all the bitching lately, I haven't gotten laid in a while), yet somehow I was up a little bit.
Then the overflow of cash started coming my way. I got AA all-in on the flop against QQ. I hit the nut straight with KJ. I raised two opponents out of big pots. Etc etc etc. Next thing I know I'm up around $1200. Woohoo!
I decided to keep on pressing. I was having a good session and I was playing well. I stuck it out for 2 more hours. And I'm glad I did.
Geewhiz (from BTP) and I were playing on the same tables, and he ended up PMing me. He told me about how aggressive one opponent was. Thank God he did because a few hands later:
Dealt JJ in MP. I raise to $16. Aggressive opponent is the only caller.
FLOP $36
Q36 Rainbow
I check. Opponent bets $50. I call
TURN $136
another rag of nothing hits. still rainbow
I check. Opponent bets around $100. I call.
RIVER $350 (est)
another nothing card hits.
I check. Opponent bets around $175. I call, he shows 95 of diamonds for no draw, no hand. Fun stuff
I also had a big suckout on the same opponent and little before that. I won't go into it too much.. but basically I had the nut flush draw and two overs on the turn... pot was $600 and it was $133 for me to call. I paired on the river
I finished up for the 4 hour session $2227. 5 1/2 buyins. My best cash games day ever. Lovely.
Everyday I feel a little bit closer to my goal of being a dominant high stakes pro. Today, even more so.
I hope my good luck continues.
