well, i've put in a lot of hours, at least for me, since i came back from AC and I'm currently up $600 already in September thanks to $250 bonus from empire and $100 from party. All playing PLO25 i'm up about 220 in 16 hours and got second in a stars SNG. i still have 240 in bonus money there but i would have to play limit to do it and I wasn't in the mood.

Played with piers, mvp and mecos. Mecos reraised me preflop out of a hand where i would have flopped trips into a boat for a nice pot. God damnit.

Ok, for anyone still reading this, I've done a few things recently.

First, I decided that I'm gonna be playing more heads up NLHE tourneys on Stars as I think my heads up game is really strong and rarely have a problem taking care of people. I'll be playing the 10+.50. I'm currently 3-0. I'm about 10-4 otherwise in the 5+.25. Hopefully this goes well.

Second, I'm up to 6 tabling PLO and I'm mostly limited by monitor. I have to position them precisely so I don't time out (particularly on Interpoker). This will help clear bonuses easier plus I'll be getting some rakeback too from Eurobet and when I don't have any bonuses to clear (not often) I will play at GC too where I can get rakeback too. I'm hoping this adds at least $50-$100 a month to my overall total.

Steal my blinds? normally, fine, take them but I had too much of a hand to fold this time.

Finally, my brother has finally gotten bored enough with his normal hobbies and is taking poker more seriously and we've been working on his game. He's also a lurker here and has been helped by a lot of articles from people here so I'll say thanks for him. I'm sure he will eventually start posting. He's smart so he's picking up on things quick so as long as he stays serious with it, I think the outcome will be very good.

I don't know if I want to play heads up with people from here. I like playing people that don't know what they are doing If you want to play sometime, we can try it out.

Played some PLO tonight. I learned a lesson tonight. Talking to multiple people on IM, watching tv and playing 6 tables can be difficult. That said, I still end up doing it all anyway because I always have the tv on and IM on or I still get bored with 4 tables so I need to learn to do it with 6 tables or just play less tables. My concentration isn't good enough to just play poker.

A decent night at the tables. I was up almost $40 and a little closer to the interpoker bonus in just 2 hours. I need to put in a lot more hours there if I'm gonna get earn a copy of super system 2 by the end of the month.

A nice little stop and go here. I didn't know it at the time but this guy put too much money in with bad hands, often betting and raising two pair. I decided to look for a good river card and play it from there. If I knew what a player he was, i would have raised him on the turn as he might not have laid down the straight. Since he couldn't improve, I guess this play might have gotten the most money out of him.

I took the huge gamble that the preflop raiser would bet as most people do if they have AAxx and raise preflop and see that flop. Apparently he didn't have that or didn't like all the callers and chickened out and screwd me. If I had bet, the other guy might have still called to hit the straight (which I'm pretty sure he had) and I might have lost more money. Since I had one of my own outs, I'm down to 9 outs or about 18-20% to win. I'm not quite getting the odds so I just lay it down. Wow, I screwed up this hand.

well, its only 10 bucks. I'm still making a nice $11 an hour at PLO25 or 44bb/hr. You would normally think that this rate would go down over time but no, its been there and I have played A LOT of PLO. I only have marginal success at PLO50 as I guess these people that beat the game like me move up so they don't pay off as much so for now, I'm happy where i am, especially playing more tables.[/b]

Played a few hours tonight. Nothing too special. Down almost $20 while trying to work off the Interpoker bonus. I'm never gonna make it to the 700 needed for SS2 unless i do something different soon.

Here's one I think I screwed up. I should have called the turn as I felt the other guy calling which would give me odds and the pot was too big for him to fold to my all in on the river. However, if I knew so many hearts were gone, I made a good fold and it just hit anyway.

I figured i was going agains the same straight but I did have a flush draw so i was freerolling him. What i can't believe is that someone with a bare two pair called and hit. That just pissed me off.

I was hoping he bet more but I think I may have extracted pretty much all I could.

I was able to get in over 600 hands in just over 2 hours 7 tabling and it wasn't so bad. If Interpoker tables didn't go so slow, i would have gotten even more in.

Anyway, I'm halfway to my interpoker bonus and over 300 hands towards the 1700 i need to release the $170 in bonus from party.

Quick update. Its extremely nice to play for about 4 hours after not having really played for days and only a couple time in about a week to be up about $250 just for one day of play at $25 PLO tables. Ok, so only $100 of it was from play and $100 from the first party bonus and $50 from referring my brother to Empire.

I will give some details later. Got my friend playing on party and he's sticking to the $25 PLO tables but he's playing too loose and is betting draws when he should be check calling if anything. I hope to work with him and help him out. I'm a helpful guy but having people coming to me for help makes me feel smart and important so its good for my ego.

Not to mention the extra rake you'll get from a winning, multitabling player!

Ever have a the feeling you can do no wrong? That you are in the zone and making correct decisions constantly? I had that last night and guess what, i was also getting people to play back at me when I had the nuts and my hands held up. Now, i feel I am a good PLO player but I also normally go for consistency over a higher variance but more profitable game. It didn't matter last night as people wanted to give me their money. about 5 hours of 5 tabling on Party (for the bonuses) and Interpoker (for the bonus too but it is so damn slow), I was up about $220 in play and 70 from bonus. Interpoker is still not released so I have that to look forward to.

That right guys, $220 in profit just from $25PLO. Actually, if you don't count the $20 I lost on interpoker, that's $240 up on 4 party tables. A profit of $290 is my third biggest one day win ever. I won $350 once at 1/2 nl in AC and I've won a home tourney of 30 people plus unlimited rebuys for $630 profit and now this.

This seems strange for how long i've been playing and that I've playing 50NL and 100NL and a week of 1/2 NL in AC recently. Well, i often win but rarely win big but I lose rarely and usually small. Its just how I play.

I never really had a reason to slow down. I guess anyone can win money with the nuts. Just watch an episode of "Tilt" and you can see that.

It was a gamble though after the preflop action and I knew it. Great way to start a session as it was one of my first hands.

So, after posting a big win earlier this week and this win, I have broken my single month earning record already and there is still time to go here. I need the money and I still have interpoker to release, $240 at stars if I want to put in the effort and my rakeback from Eurobet, which won't be too much since i've barely played there since I've had tons of other bonuses.

Been a good month. So much has happened recently from poker to work to personal and to family that my head is spinning. Never been happier though.
