I broke my MTT cherry this morning!!!

I played in a 19 person $22 Fixed O 8 tournament on Full Tilt and took it down. This was preceded by a long over due win in a $22 NLHE SNG.

Started at 8:15 am, finished at 11:45 am, up $235!!!!

This is a pretty huge win for me (I know many of you have won MTTs before), puts the bankroll over $1700 for 2005!!!

I think I'm going to take the rest of the weekend off, all I can do is F it up!!!

Actually, I've never won an MTT (though I play them exceptionally rarely, maybe 20 or 30 in total in my life). My best ever finish was 2nd in a $5k freeroll at Crypto - I messed about for the first hour moving all in on just about any old hand, ran up an absurdly large stack through pure, blind luck and then played seriously through the next hour and a half, bullying my way into the chip lead and losing heads up when I got it in as an 80% favourite. Couldn't really complain about bad luck though, given how many times I sucked out earlier after pushing in with garbage!

Enjoy the weekend. I'm still on a semi-high from having had an immense cash game session on thursday, so it's definitely nice to bask in a good win!
