I cant remember my PT forum password so Im asking this question here. Whats the correct procedure for downloading and installing a new patch?

I downloaded the latest patch which is supossed to fix the problem of mucked hands not showing at showdown on Prima

I double clicked the zipped file and hit "unzip". Is there anything else I need to do? Does it run and extract automatically or what? Im still not seeing the mucked cards so it must not be working yet.

PT does that? I thought it was PAHUD that was doing that for me.

In any event, forget the patch. Just DL the full version and install it. I've had no end of trouble with the patches, but the full installs work just fine.

If I download the full version, will it already have all my hands in the database? And it will it show the mucked hands from hands that are already in there before the new version was installed?

If you download the full version, it will not overwrite your existing databases, so you can safely do that. I've done this using Access and PostgreSQL as databases.

It definitely shows the mucked-at-showdown hands. I used the PT hand review feature to post my last 3 hands for review in the NL forum, and I played them at Prima.

Strange. My Help/About shows version 2.08.00b. I have no problems seeing Prima hand histories, including hands that were mucked on the end. I've converted to PostgreSQL, so I can't go back and test it with Access.
