i have 10-10...opponent has JJ. assuming that both remaining Jacks and (obviously) both remaining 10's are not in anyone else's hand...what are the odds of a J-10-10 flop at a 10-handed table?

4323 to 1 assuming you can say that the other Tens and Jacks aren't out, but how could you? Heads up?

well. obviously the other 10's are live.....because they both came on the flop. and at least 1 of the 2 remaining Jacks is live...because it came on the flop. this specific flop would have been impossible if the 10's were gone or if both jacks were gone. i'm not as interested in the pure odds of this happening as i am in the odds of this happening when the deck makes it possible.

this actually happened in a hand, by the way. i got lucky and stacked the tightest, solidest, most set-farming little nit that i've ever seen at $50NL. the guy multitables and makes $1500 a month just on his rakeback.
