Thanks for the info. I just started doing this one yesterday. I have a couple of questions for you.

You were able to clear the ENTIRE bonus playing up to $1/2 tables?

It seems that no one really has been able to figure out the structure. It says a "maximum" of 100 bonus points for .25/.50 ($20 in bonus) and a maximum of 300 for .50/1 and $1/2. Bonus above this would take higher limits. This is not correct?

How did you know you cleared this while you were playing? The number of hands is calculated overnight, right?

It seems like a great bonus for us bonus whores, but the details are little fuzzy.

CJ

ps--I just checked. I have 32 qualifying hands for almost 3 hours of play. Yikes! Guess I'll have to two-table today.

Just so everyone knows. BTP is an affiliate at Gaming Club. If you are going to sign up there anyway, we at BTP would appreciate if you sign up thru us. When you do, it provides us with some referral imcome to keep this site running as smoothly as it does.
There will be a Gaming Club banner to click on soon, but until then, if you private message me, I can set you up. Thanks

Cactus Jack,

I cleared it all playing .50/1.00 Limit Hold Em.

Here is the structure. You get 3 Bonus Reward Points for any raked hand at the .50/1.00 level or above, in which you were dealt cards. No need to contribute to the pot like their old system. So it's $20 in bonus for 100 raked hands.

I kept track of my raked hands with tick marks on a sticky note. By the time I was playing 3 tables that was a real pain, and I stopped. By that time I knew the average and just tracked my time on the tables. I figured 30 raked hands per hour, per table, and was always pretty close. You can check back after the system resets to see how close your estimates were.

Their system lags, but seems to update frequently. If you play a long session with more than $20 earned, it will probably release $20 at a time over a period of several hours to half a day. They always had the money paid out in less than a day with me.

Sorry Iceman, I thought you guys had a TGC ad set up already.

Thanks for checking on it, Semperfi. Glad my confusion is my own. The good news is, you don't have to participate in every pot, so I'll just play .50/1 until that clears, then 1/2 and play like a rock. AA, KK, AK, only! :D Three tables like a rock should be no problem at all. It's not a bad bonus.

Well, I got my first $20 in bonus, and made $25 playing .50/1. Played some two tables, but didn't really like it very much. Maybe with some more experience at it, that might change, but it's not as much fun as playing a single table and reading the other players. Multi-tabling seems to require me to just play my own hand. Plus, occasionally, I'd get good hands at the same time and wouldn't play either very well, or at least as well as I could have.

You realize that you had to clear the bonus (or as much of it as possible) by the 17th of January. So if you are playing now you probably wont get any bonus unless they somehow extended the bonus.

It appears you are correct, WC, and I'm not happy about it. I'm pulling my stake out of TGC and telling them to take a hike.

I've deposited $90 into Interpoker. Lousy software, and minimum $1/$2 tables, so the risk is way high for the bonus. I'm beginning to think this is TANSTAAFL--there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

I'll do a bit more chasing, but only to check out the various poker sites until I settle on one I like the best.

I knew it. If it looks too good to be true, fold.

Interpoker is great, I've made an absolute mint there. Not so good for limit, I've heard, but the NL and PLO games are fantastic ($100 buyin minimum) and the bonus is out of this world.

I pulled my $98 out of TGC and deposited $90 into Interpoker. So far, no so good. Just having a really bad day. Up $22 on one table, thanks to a nice $30 full house. However, just got killed on the second table. KK and AA broken by K6o and Q3s, respectively. Must have lost 7 hands when I was second best. Down $26 for the first 120 raked hands. I'll probably come back, but I've got some work ahead of me. At least I managed to double my deposit on The Gaming Club, before they shut off the bonus pump.
