See title -

What are the odds of flopping (at minimum) either or both flush and straight draw, with suited connector?

Can't help you with the straight stuff, but here are the flush odds (in %):

Two suited cards: Makes a flush 6.5% of the time (to the river)
Two suited cards: FLOPS a flush 0.8% of the time
Two suited cards: Flops a four-flush 10.9% of the time

Hope that helps...at least it's a start!

My little pea brain thinks this is not correct.

Lets assume the you will flop the flush draw 10.9% (I dont think thats correct)

You will hit the flush 1 out of 3 times when you have the draw

So shouldnt you be able to divide the 10.9 by 3 to get the odds of hitting the flush with any suited cards if you get to the river?

Well I sure hope this is correct since I have it printed out on a chart for quick reference! But seriously, I can't find a link to the original chart I have on my board, but this link here shows a ton different odds and probabilities. Page down to "With 2 suited cards, the probability of:" and you'll see the numbers. It's very slightly different than what I posted but not significantly.

Nice link Leon.

I did a bit of work on these probabilities a few months ago when trying to work out what might be worth limping in from LP or the SB with.

So, with the proviso that my rusty old brain ain't what it used to be and I'd be happy to be corrected, I give you the following (rounded to nearest %):

With 0 gap middle suited connectors (eg 76s)

Flop Four to the Flush 11%
Flop an OE straight draw eg 85x or 54x 11%
Flop 2 Pairs eg 76x 2%
Flop a Straight 1%
Flop Trips or a Full eg 77x or 55x 1%
Flop a Flush 1%
Flop Any of the Above 27%

With 1 gap middle suited connectors (eg 75s)

Flop Four to the Flush 11%
Flop an OE straight draw eg 64x or 86x 7%
Flop 2 Pairs eg 75x 2%
Flop a Straight 1%
Flop Trips or a Full eg 77x or 55x 1%
Flop a Flush 1%
Flop Any of the Above 23%

With 2 gap middle suited connectors (eg 85s)

Flop Four to the Flush 11%
Flop an OE straight draw eg 76x 4%
Flop 2 Pairs eg 85x 2%
Flop a Straight 1%
Flop Trips or a Full eg 88x or 55x 1%
Flop a Flush 1%
Flop Any of the Above 20%

Thanks NorthView, EXACTLY what I was looking for! :)

So it seems that it's optimal to have 3 limpers for zero-gap suited connectors, and 4 limpers for 1 and 2-gap suited connectors based on those odds, would that be a fair statement?

Is this Limit you're asking about? If so, that's not a game I've played so I'm afraid I can't help.

Yup, correct - I'm refering to Limit.

I think so - because I've seen people say to get at least 3 limpers for those kind of cards.
