I know my fold to the raise preflop seems weak tight but I didn't have position and all i had was a nut flush draw and some semi connected straight cards. Good thing I didn't see that flop. Sometimes, it really pays to be real tight.

just curious... is there a reason you limped with this hand in the first place? looks pretty ragged to me, and the flush draw isn't worth much due to the fact that no one is yet in the pot.

do you see value in this hand that i don't? if so, please enlighten.

suited ace, late position with semi decent straight cards, I will try to limp with them and look for a good flop. I would prefer something more like A89T with a suited Ace but I figured its worth a try.

It is very mediocre but i'd limp it on a very passive table in brians position. You can always fold if you need and it's never bad to be seen to play a few hands! It's not the worst hand in the world.

Beginners please fold it!
