Top set against preflop raisor

Postby briachek » Fri Oct 14, 2005 12:27 pm

in a multiway pot. Blacson is a calling station that doesn't know how to bet as shown by his flop lead. Should I have just called flop, knowing the preflop raisor would like raise, hope blacson called so I can go all in and create a side pot?

I'm not too angry with this hand as i've done it to others recently. He had 11 outs on the flop. I'm just wondering if I could have gotten a side pot going.

Nah. With so many players in it'd be a horrible error to let in a flush draw cheaply, and don't forget anyone with low cards has a straight draw. I can't see how you can not push here.
