Kuso is a lucksack

OK, here is one of the hands where I won almost a full stack.

My thinking was that I had a draw to the nut low with enough of a high that I would probably 3/4. The pre-flop raise made me think A23x (wrong, actually he had a marginal low). The turn added a flush draw to the low draw and TPTK, so I thought that I would try to make him lay down. When the J hit on the river, I assumed that he would dump his low draw -- boy was I wrong.

Comments on how I played it and on how Villain played it? I feel like he pushed his 2pr hand WAY too far, but he was very close to taking it down.

To start with, he played it like a total donk. I don't think he realized it but that is a horrible flop for him. If he is going to continue with this hand he needs to raise the flop and try to take it down, but I would just fold. You, a tight player, showed strength by potting into the pre-flop raiser if I was him, I would have respected that.

I would say your play is read dependant. It looks like this guy is a passive donk so I may have checked the turn hoping to see a free river; however, your line is reasonable. The other option if he is agressive and knows how to fold a hand (which it doesn't look like) would be to CR the turn.

He didn't play it very well. Horrible flop for him though. He either needs to raise the flop or fold IMO.

Anyhow, I think you played it OK. I would be tempted to check-call the river as the only thing likely to pay off is a busted draw or busted low etc. taking a shot at a bluff. You were kind of lucky he had AA and was loose enough to call with it.
