I'd like to win now

Haven't been able to put together a winning session in about a week. Bad beats, bad luck, shitty play all combine for recent, big losses.

Despite of all of this (or maybe because of it) I decided to play in the Bodog $100k tourney this Sunday. I managed to place 88th out of about 730. Money was 65th.

I was 0/4 on coinflips!!!! What is the deal with that??! I can't believe I made it as far as I did. I even lost a monster pot to a running flush. The moron tried to explain to me why calling a reraise with Q8 wasn't a bad play. The idiot probably won the tourney for all I know.

I thought about playing the $250 buyin satelitte to the next WPT event, but with the luck I'm having I wimped out.

I may switch sites tommorow. I think I need a break from the Bodog. I may actually put some money on Party for awhile. I'm not sure, it'll depend how I feel tommorow. Full Tilt is another option... but I have the feeling they won't have enough 2/4 games. Prima's 2/4 game is the tightest I've seen, so I'll just leave that one alone.

Finally had a decent session today. I played for 3 hours 10m and came home a decent winner. Whats amazing about it, is that my premium hands would not hold.

I probably hit 5 sets (seriously) and did not get paid off for one. Aftertime I hit a set, I raised preflop, made a continuation bet and everyone would fold. Kinda disappointing.

My biggest hand of the day was 64o in MP for a 3xBB raise. Flop was K64 and he had AK and lost his full $400 stack to me. Bascially I called the raise because I was pissed. I raised the flop, bet the turn, moved in on the river and he called on a board of K64TJ w/AK. I think the previous hand I just lost, was in his mind when he put the last of his money in.

My second best hand was K6 suited on the button. Flop was J66 and the CO couldn't fold his slow played AA. I got about half his stack on that hand since he played so passively.

I plan on putting in 5 hours tommorow.

So you're making $136 an hour on 2-4 NL BOdog and you're going to switch sites from a few bad days? HUHHHHH?

there is a reason you make that much there - the players are worse than other sites. Of course you get some big swings.

I don't even think $136/hr is sustainable (I think $100-125/hr is the best you can do but maybe thats just me (aside: after 50 hours there my winrate was $168/hr - a couple hundred hours later it came down to earth)) - so you're running good and you're still going to quit it - I don't get it.

bad days and weeks happen. you're a professional, snap out of it!
