Well I hardly ever get the chance to play during the day time hours during the week but today I was home sick from work and played for about 3.5 hours. I managed to unlock a bonus AND win. Overall, things felt back to normal even though the tables were a bit tighter than at night. I was hittting my occasional set, betting and hitting my OESDs, etc etc....life is good. I even managed a suckout of sorts of my own that I posted in the NL section (I had AK, he had 77, flop came down AA7, we got it all in and I sucked out a K on the turn to take it down).

I also tried out a MTT 20+2, but didnt last very long. I raised UTG+1 w/ AKs, flop came Kxx w/ 2 of my suit, we got it all in and his 2 pair held up. I really like the MTT though and plan to play another one Saturday.

Well, glad I finished up my Multi bonus Friday b/c the skins were thrown under the bus on Saturday. Bummer as far as grabing up bonuses but maybe it will turn out to be a good thing in the long run...who knows.

I didnt play at all Saturday (mostly b/c the Party 'network' was down all day and I had started to sip a few cold ones by time it came back up).

Played for just over an hour today, dropped $27, cards were very chilly. Gonna play a freeroll tonight but that is about it. I think I might increase my playing time at Stars and maybe try out some new sites like FTP or Bodog. Anyone got any advice on these sites??

Wrapped up my Party bonus last night and won some monsters to boot. I was down 2 buyins in the first hour which really sucked a big one but I ended up coming back to manage a +95 result and a +100 bonus.

Here was one hand towards the end that made me say "WTF??" Now granted, in hindsight, I should have raised more PF. My raise was doo doo IMO.

Well I played Saturday, and a little today. Overall down about $90 or so. Played at Stars for a loonnnnngggg time Saturday but couldnt get anything going. The $50 tables were super stupid....VPiPs in the mid 30s, some higher. Reminded me a lot of $25NL on Party before the split. But a combination of chilly cards, not being able to hit a set if my life depended on it, and a few bad beats left me just about even after several hours of play.

I took a break and pumped some money into PokerRoom for the $50,000 MTT. Dropped my buyin, a rebuy, and an add-on there....got 2 big hands early then nothing, I mean NOTHING, finished in the 300s out of prolly 900, very disappointing. Hoped back on Stars to finish up a bonus and ended up playing for hours longer than I normally would have b/c those damn bonuses are slow than slow.

Ended pulling all my $$ off of Stars and PR. Prolly wont ever go back to PR, this tourny was the first time I've been there in over a year anyway. I wont hit Stars back up until I get the urge to play some 2/4 limit...if that ever happens.

Blah blah blah, played a considerable amount of poker this weekend and dont even have a hand interesting enought to talk about. Shows how my cards were running. Me thinks it makes for pretty boring journal too.

Played for about 45 mins today and got sucked out on just about every hand. I am still kinda hot over some of the beats so I will not be playing anymore today but I am also content with the fact that I got my money in with the best hand..ie. my plays were dead on, I just got unlucky. It still burns when some jackass w/ a 60%VPiP gets his money in the pot with a dominated hand and hits runner runner or some other BS.

Also, kinda pissed that I havent played much in the last week or so but I just didnt have any motivation. Now I WANT to play but cant b/c I know I will tilt off some $$ given what happened earlier today....oh the irony.
