I am down to almost 2.5 buy ins.

Some questionable hands from tonite.

I'm in the BB w/ KJs. Huge stack ($100+) raises min. It's called in a few spots. I call ($42 stack).

Flop is J 3 7. No flush draw.

I bet pot ($4) and raiser calls.

Turn is 3. Pot is about $12. I bet $10. Raiser calls.

River: Ace

What do you do? I checked and raiser bet $20. I should have folded, but I was pissed and he had AK.

Another table.

K9s in BB. We see the flop 3 handed. The flop is 893 w/ no flush draw. I bet $2 and it's called by LP. I put him on a 10J type hand. The turn is a J. I bet $4.50 into the $6 pot and he calls. Pot is about $13. The river is a Q. I really dont think I'm ahead so I check fold to his $8 bet.

Another table

I have 77 UTG. about 5 limpers and it's min raised by the CO. We all call. Flop is 345 w/ a heart draw. I check. MP bets $1, raiser calls, SB calls. I re-raise to $6. It's folded to the original raiser who re-raises all in for $30 more. I fold. He shows A2...

Any help is appreciated. I've been running well/playing well until tonite. I noticed I was making some BAD plays (trying to CR with 99 UTG instead of betting on a 578 flop or raising w/ KK and getting 5 callers and attempting to check raise on a J high flop, but no one bets and the turn is a J) I don't know if I'll have time to put in another session and I don't want to be playing to catch up. thanks

Sometimes you don't get the cards. I was nailed by three flopped sets today when I had two pair. My AA got busted by an AQ. Happens, move on. Take a break, go see a movie, play when you want to.

$25 NL PARTY
I am dealt ($24 stack) and call a $2 raise from a EP player ($27 stack). The BB calls as well.

Flop

BB checks and the raiser bets the pot $6. I don't know what t do here. If I raise I am pot committing myself. I decide call to see what he does on the turn. If he checks I can take it. If he makes a weak bet I can re-raise. If he pushes aggressively I can assume he is trying to protect a big PP. I called and the turn was EP went all in. I folded.

On another note. I made up some ground from earlier. I'm only down $25 rather than $65. Thank goodness.

Fold Hand 1 on the river. Flop and turn is fine.

Check-fold Hand 2 on the turn instead of betting again. If he checks back you can check-call a non-scary river card if the bet isn't too big.

Hand 3 is played fine.

Hand 4 is tough. The problem is you are playing with such shallow stacks. You can't really raise without totally committing yourself. I hate calling because no matter what comes on the turn you are uncertain (even if spade falls) and you are likely facing another bet. I'm leaning towards raising all-in here since your stacks are both shallow and you have a made hand and a draw. There is no way he has a made flush here and only thing you are really afraid of is an overpair with a better flush draw. This is also where your reads on the player should come in. Is he LAG, weak-tight, etc?
