Anybody read this book?

I just ordered Pot Limit & No Limit Hold'em by Stewart Reuben and Bob Ciaffone. Anybody read it before? Thoughts on it?

Before Harrington, it was universally agreed, I think, that this was the very best book on NL HE written. You should get a lot out of it.

It's a great book and definitely worth multiple reads.

There are some examples of other games, but I found studying them they drove at some principles that also apply to NLHE.

Considers concepts that most other books don't in that it goes beyond 'what do I have and what might my opponent have'

I actually didn't get a thing out of it.

I'ts a good book,..i just wish I had found it a year sooner. By the time I got my hands on it, I knew everything that was written in the holdem section already. Arrogant but true!

As much fun as it is to mess with Kenny, I do understand where he is coming from. I dont read poker books anymore, I dont get anything out of them. I do still read the Theory of poker I guess, but reading BTP is far better for me than reading any poker book.

I, too, understand what you guys mean about not getting anything out of books, after a time. Most books are aimed at the fish, as if they read. I guess that's why I'm enjoying HoH so much. I've gotten a lot out of the.

Reading TOP again and again? I think I'd rather take a sleep aid. Not as effective, but more gentle on the brain.

I used to read Penthouse in the bathroom, but found that mass X energy / space = a problem.
