Activity for 10/21/05
2/4 limit hold'em full tables
I won $19 today and played just a few hands. At the
beginning I was getting no cards, but I won a couple
of hands at the end. The last hand I played I won with
KQ against Q2. I was ahead on the flop when a queen
flopped. I was behind on the turn when a two came, and
won on the river when a king came. It was a hand with
ups and downs. But I ended up winning in the end,
which is what counts I guess.

Activity for 10/22/05
2/4 limit hold'em full tables
Continuing my plan of just making small wins then
quitting, I earned $10 today, but it wasn't easy.
In an early hand, I had pocket AA, and flopped a set
and lost on the river to a flush.
Then I had pocket QQ. The flop was 3 clubs. I didn't
have a club. I ended up folding early and two pair
won, so it was probably a good fold.
Then I got pocket AA again, and split the pot when my
opponent who had AQ made an inside straight draw when
the final board contained 2 3 4 5. If he hadn't made
his 4 outer, I would have won outright.
Finally I made a couple of winning hands at the end,
to end up in the positive for the day.

Activity for 10/25/05
2/4 limit hold'em full tables
I lost $101 today. I just couldn't get very good
cards.
I was losing with high pocket pairs. I never had AA or
KK. I lost with TT, QQ, JJ, QQ, and TT. The last QQ
loss was especially painful, when I ran up against
pocket aces.
Sets flopped were 1 for 11, below normal.
Flush draws made were 2 for 7, below normal.
I even had 2 outside straight draws and wouldn't make
them.
I never once had a favorable turn or river card when I
stayed in the hand.
On the positive side, I actually made a lot of good
folds when I was beat. Otherwise I would have lost
even more money.

worst hand you can have heads up) in the big blind,
flopped trips, turned a full house, and won a nice
sized pot. But I lost my winnings when I had a
straight draw and missed, and tried a failed bluff on
the river.
But at the end I called a raise with Td 9d, flopped a
pair of nines, and ended up winning the hand, when I
bet and everyone else folded. Go figure?
Of course as usual I flopped nothing with my better
hands.

pot.

for the day.
