Hi,
I seem to have a problem when the table gets down to a small number of players (3 or less including me) The games i play in usually start between 6-8 players, never more than 8 though. I consistantly make it to be one of the last three, usually with the middle sized stack, but it is at this point that my game seems to go to shit. Basically I have a hard time keeping a decent size stack. Can you offer any tips to help me play better when there are fewer players in the game. If you need any more info to help let me know.

You are just trying to outlast your opponents. My goal in SNG's is to try and be very aggressive against anyone who I think I can steal the blinds of and not play into the hands of the big stack until that is me...then bully the table. I want first, so I go for it. big cards are raising hands, and my normally tight game goes out the window. I think you need to first try and figure out what you can get away with from your opponents and then make sure you open up your starting hand requirements alot, and that means more raising hands and position playing.

Aggression seems to win 1st place more than patience when down to the last few people...go in with no fear and see if those results don't improve.
