OK it was a live tourney so I guess it counts. Played a winner take all tourney at the Docks in Toronto. Yes you guessed it, placed first. When we were down to three of us I agreed to a chop of the 10K..... 5K 3K and 2K. It allowed me to continue my aggressive play knowing I was getting something. Now to keep the streak alive.....

With the size of the prize for 6th that has to be a freezeout, but still a great showing. Those micros aren't exactly a walk in the park with their huge fields. Congrats!

Yeah that was definately a freezeout. 6th place for a rebuy would have been closer to a grand.

new addition. 14th of 1870 in an empire freeroll where the blinds go up every 2 min. I would have gotten farther as I was like the 4th stack by the BB was 2/3 of my stack. That's right, I was 4th stack with about 150k but the blinds were 50k/100k! the final table was 3 handed since 2 other tables were delaying and we didn't get a merge since they don't do hand for hand so I was forces all in with 63o against KQ. Won a big 3.50 but could have been 105.

It was a complete crapshoot and I got really lucky as you have to be at this tourney. However, i made really good decisions as I would often get all in vs short stacks and I would actually make chips by losing since I would get the blinds to fold and I win the side pots. Just goes to show, the luckies I ever get in a tourney and its for a first prize of $105 which I get screwed out of at the end.
