If you are like me and playing the same site and game (Party $25 PLO8) 90% of the time, you see some of the same players on a very regular basis. So who are the ones that really get to you? I know I have a couple that I will go out of my way to trap/bust, just, well, just because. Sometimes they are good players that, when you stack them, make you feel better (like taking a Clemens fastball deep), other times they are tools that happen to luck out against you more than (you think) they deserve to.

AmourofGod is my personal favorite. He's a pretty good player, very aggressive at times (the more I pay attention the more I realize the aggression almost always comes in late position), but very open to a check raise if you can catch him at the right time. It's a dangerous play, because he will pot with some very suspect hands at times and for a while was getting stupidly lucky against me. Case in point - he pots from the button after I raise from the cutoff. Flop comes 7TJ, I have TJQK and check raise him. Neither of us improve and he shows 3477.

I also make a note on anyone that talks trash to someone after a hand, and they instantly move to the top of my target list. When I nail them I like to use the line Vince used against Grady Seasons in The Color of Money - "It's a nightmare, isn't it?" Hehe.

I messed with a guy the other night, I got dealt AKKK with the ace suited in the BB and called a min raise after 4 other callers. Flop came with 2 of my suit, turn brought the flush and I took it down with a pot bet. I showed the hand and a guy went off on me telling me I was an idiot for playing trips. I played it up - said "Dude, I had a suited AK" and he gave me a lecture on how we weren't playing Holdem, yadda yadda yadda. One of the other regulars tried to warn the guy that I probably knew what I was doing, but he didn't want to hear it. About 5 or 6 hands later I stacked him with a wheel/6, hehe.

But specific people? Psh.

i forgot to mention ATE... he really is a fish at the 25plo8 tables... gets stacked and then berates people for calling him down.

all joking aside about ribbo... he seems to have a dual personality. his SLAG style is a beauty to watch, but sometimes he seems to get uberaggro and donk off a lot of chips. he's actually a decent sized loser in my 200plo8 stats over about 1000 hands.

Haven't seen ATE in any capacity in a long time. When I play ribbo in the 200 games I mostly stay out of his way; even though he lives about an hour away from me he doesn't seem to often be playing when I am anyway.

Why do you have 200 plo8 stats?

LOL.... well as I don't play much PLO at party (mostly PLO8) I guess I might not see much of you anyhow. We'll see how it goes in the next couple of months! Right now it's mostly PLO and PLO8 at crypto, the odd table of empire to clear the bonus and now it'll be the odd table of party PLO8, some Stars now and again and, most recently, a little bit of Prima.

Are there that many more PLO games? How do you manage to play as many tables at the same time as you do?

Play 4 or 5 games at crypto usually plus 2, 3 or 4 across stars and empire. Now i've just quit both stars and empire, stars cos it keeps battering me and I can't seem to win a hand there lately (i'm estimating about -$2k on the tables last few months, nightmare run, putting me about break even for the year there, or slightly positive), empire because the party split has killed the tables. I'm joining stans poker (UK Prima site) and Party once more. Stans is going OK, I think party might be better now post-split.
