i should add an exception. there are a few tight players with BIG winning rates in my pto db who will only raise with the nuts (esp. on flush boards). even for them, i would call rather than muck.

fwiw, there are about 5 people out of over 10k in my db who get this much respect. they play a lot, though.

Kuso, why would you raise preflop and jam the flop? This is PLO high I think, not O8.

If villain is a reasonable to good player you're probably better just calling than risking getting stacked by a straight flush. You certainly can't even consider folding it.

At 25 PLO and with no additional reads I would perhaps raise it again. The main problem is that a king high flush will fold unless he's a total goon (netting you no money) and a straight flush will raise again (losing you your stack). However, like I said, probably raise again at 25 PLO because the chances of him being a goon are fairly high. I would probably just call it in a 200 buyin game though, unless up against a complete balloon.

as for the k-high calling down... oh yeah, it happens at the low limits. i've even seen Q-high and T-high call downs. so again, inless you have a good read that villain is a decent player, go to the felt.

in that case, stay out of my way. Stl has learned to give me respect as i've beaten him down in pretty much every pot I play with him. I ONLY raise with the best hand, especially against people who know I only raise with the best hand
