You'll just have to trust me on this one  Pretty damn good stuff.

Just played like shit in a late session of PLO8. Made a couple of calls that just made no damn sense whatsoever.

This has just been a rough month but all in all I have only had one really shitty day where I lost nearly 2K. The other two losses were relatively small but the wins by and large have been miniscule compared to usual. Still posting nearly a 600.00 earnings in October and this should improve in the last week of the month as I have quite a few bonuses that I will hopefully be able to get finished up. The hand below which I just played pretty much exemplifies the state of affairs recently.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with [6d], [Qc].
2 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) [Qs], [9h], [6h] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) [Td] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, Button calls.

River: (7.50 BB) [3h] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, Button raises, SB calls, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 12.50 BB

Results in white below:
Button has Th 7h (flush, ten high).
SB has 2h Jh (flush, jack high).
Outcome: SB wins 12.50 BB.

Another frustrating morning. I am getting tired as hell of facing these Tight Agressive Tables from hell at the 0.5-1.00 and 1-2 games. I continue to outplay them but get mauled by unfortunate cards that leave me hanging out to dry. Going to continue to work on these bonuses to finish the month and then really going to concentrate on playing more higher limit stud instead of beating my brains out in these cut throat low limit games that have very little +EV in them currently.

Some nice mouse breakers for my first hour session.

River: (8 BB) [7d] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10 BB

SB has 9d Qc (flush, ace high).
Hero has 8c 6c (straight, eight high).
Outcome: SB wins 10 BB.

Was going to start my new plan of 8 tabling 2-4 limit across 8 different sites but unfortunately my internet connection sucked this morning, don't know if it was because all of the sites I had opened along with PT etc but some serious lagging was happening. I have to get some type of access besides this dialup shit anyway as nothing more frustrating than getting knocked off sites and out of pots due to a shitty connection.

Another hour in the books at three different sites (UB, Euro and Trident) and even managed small victories at them all which is certainly a nice change of pace. And on a huge note cleared 1.87 of my pending 1300+ UB bonus in the process.

Couldn't make it an hour in the next session as I just ran into another string of mouse breakers and after 45 minutes just shut it down. Pretty frustrating stuff as I am playing some damn good poker right now with my reads being incredibly accurate but I just can't hold off the nightmare runners, rivers and other assorted nastiness that is hounding me including running TPTK and two pairs into ALOT of sets. I guess on the positive I am still playing my way through the mine field and showing profits nearly everyday, albeit some small ones, so I will just keep on keeping on and hopefully ride out the storm into some smooth sailing before long.

Finally had a small amount of justice with a very short 36 session on Absolute and lo and behold the PLO8 action at the skins was lively for a change although I didn't get a whole lot of it as a couple of my big draws didn't get there.

A fairly slow day at the office today as I stayed out until 5ish this morning while making the rounds in several drinking and dancing establishments. If as a man you ever get tired of looking at beautiful, skimpily clad young women shaking their money makers on the dance floor (with various other devious thoughts circling your gray matter) then just go ahead and put yourself out of your misery because you are already dead.

A fairly lazy day in regard to playing. Sitting at 450 or so down for the month currently so I have an outside chance to post a positive number for October. I am within range of knocking out one Pstars bonuses (120) as well as the Pokerroom bonus (230) so a solid day hourwise at the office tomorrow could get me there. I am also running alot better over the last few days which is always a good feeling. Hopefully that last run into hell is over with and things settle back down to normal with daily extractions being much less frustrating. It seemed for a while that everytime I had QQ or KK I just knew that an ace was coming and invariably it did whether on the flop, turn or river.

I am also droppingd back down to 5-10 and below as I took out 2000.00 from the BR to go along with that nasty 1800 loss, for my wife as she wants to build another house on some more land that we have outside of Caracas. I am really against this but she just keeps on about it. The house will cost about 10K in total so it is not a huge deal but not one that I am particularly happy about because I don't like the area but it seems to make her happy so I guess I will just bite the bullet.

It costs $10,000 to build a house in Venezuela? Why do I still live in America?

In some areas much less than that. The one I am building in Estado Lara in the mountains is only going to cost me 5K or so and it is a pretty good sized affair. All in all I think it is a good investment as the area is in a "private" sector which should only rise in value in the coming years but to get to the area and back to Caracas you have to drive through a real armpit called Junquito with two lanes (one each way) of wall to wall slow ass traffic for 12 Km or so. The land is actually in a secluded place but the main drawback is that it is VERY steep. If I can get the people building the place to level it off some it won't be as bad.

Good start to the morning. Played 1.67 hours at PokerStars and all I have to say is the place is infested with idiots which is a very good thing especially after dealing with the Tight Aggressive nightmare tables of the skins for the last 3 weeks. Here's a nice one that I lost but this is the kind of player that was inhabiting quite a few seats in the lower limit games this morning.

Well finally stepped into the 21th century as my high speed connection is now up and functioning. Going to test it out on the Pokerroom site as that one always gives me trouble.

Had a nice surprise at Pokerroom as apparently I had a 100.00 bonus that I had no clue about but that just cleared and I still have my 200.00 bonus remaining to work on. Still had the problem with the site though as the screens would just black out. I think it is a problem with the downloaded version because I opened up the Java version and it is running fine. Had a tiny bad run at PStars in the afternoon session with a couple of nasty beats but all in all just lost a little total. Getting very close to making October a profitable month. Going to put in a few more hours today to see if I can't get it over the top.

Another session another win although would have been a little nicer if this last hand would have came through.

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with [Js], [Ah].
UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero calls, 3 folds, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) [8d], [Jh], [Jd] (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets, UTG calls, Hero calls, Button raises, SB folds, BB 3-bets, UTG calls, Hero calls, Button caps, BB calls, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (10.50 BB) [4s] (4 players)

River: (15.50 BB) [Qd] (4 players)
UTG bets, Hero calls, Button raises, UTG 3-bets, Hero folds, Button caps, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 24.50 BB

Results in white below:
BB has Ad 4d (flush, ace high).
UTG has Tc Jc (three of a kind, jacks).
Button has 9d Td (straight flush, queen high).
Outcome: Button wins 24.50 BB.

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with [As], [Ac].
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, CO calls, 3 folds.

Flop: (4.50 SB) [Js], [Qc], [Td] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) [Qd] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

River: (5.25 BB) [Th] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero calls.

Guess my river bet was not really optimal there but this guy had beaten me about 3 other times with some atrocious suckouts and would call the river with anything but I think a check was in order.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

Results in white below:
BB doesn't show.
Hero has As Ac (two pair, aces and queens).
CO has Ts 3s (full house, tens full of queens).
Outcome: CO wins 9.25 BB.
