Bye bye full ring games. We had a very nice love affair that lasted 3 years and you treated me well during that time, but times have changed. I need my space.

I think I want to see other people...uh....I mean play other games. OK, fine, I admit it...I have someone new in my life and her name is "6 max". You just dont do it for me anymore. We've drifted apart and you dont make me feel the way you used to.

I feel alive again playing 6 max. I have 2500 hands so far with a win rate of 11PTBBs. It could / should be higher. Ive lost 5 sets to either runner runner flush or 2 outters at the river and these were large pots.

The variance is higher at 6 max, but it doesnt bother me because there is so much more action that it is much easier to make back a stack when I get outdrawn for a huge pot. In ful ring, I sit there for hours waiting for the 1 perfect hand to stack someone and when I get outdrawn, its very hard to come back from that during one session, but at 6 max, the action never stops.

i've been meaning to try 6-max for a while. i tried it tonight...cause i've been in a serious funk at full ring. i like it. a lot. players = awful. games play like my low-stakes home games. on the one hand i was running very hot....but the players are loose, easy to read and pay off very well, at least at my stakes.

I lost top set again this morning to a guy who called my raise with A2. No biggie though, I made it back agaisnt other fools calling raises with junk.

A guy called my $10 raise with J5. He probably jumped out of his chair when the flop was Q55 and then the turn was a J.....too bad for him I had QQ

When my sets start holding up better, my win rate is going to sky rocket. Losing 6 sets in 5 days is pretty rare.

Very interesting, with high risk of becoming hijacker of the year I must say that 6 max have worked out beutifully for me so far and if this can help me to get even better numbers I'm very happy=)
