before results are revealed, do you like it or not? I got overpair and flush draw.

I wouldn't mind it against the pre-flop raiser, but I don't like it because of the caller in the middle. I think with the caller in the middle your fold equity is severly reduced and you are lucky you have 40% of the PE.

Spicy then goes on to yell at my postflop raise since i didn't raise preflop. I didn't know the other guy so I didn't realize how passive he was. I lost but I still think this play is good, but I guess against people that can fold more hands.

SpicyE's call after your raise was pretty dreadful IMO.

I still don't mind your play, because someone had a set (worst case scenario) and you were still about neutral EV to get your money in. If you're up against two pair heads up you're about a cointoss:

The play is, of course, much better if these are the sort of players who can fold hands, especially decent ones with significant equity against your holding like bottom set or top two pair to your raise. I would think this would be a very solid play on a typical 200 table, though I'm not always that swashbuckling!

A little revenge on that guy. Wonder if he likes that check raise now?

I thought about reraising preflop but didn't like my position. I knew he would be the flop and went for the check raise and this time he called me with Q's and the flush draw. I lost the main pot due to running flush but made money overall.
