Hey all

I'm playing in a live tourney tomorrow night, $20 buyin with rebuys and addons untill the first break (4th level of blinds or something). I've never played in a rebuy tourney before so if anyone could give me some tips and/or guidelines for how to play i'd really appreciate it. I want to know if it's profitable to go all-in a lot at the start to try build a huge stack, or to hunt out the people trying to do this? Anything will help. Thanks!

Actually, it depends on your roll. If your roll is deep enough, then take some coinflips in the buyin. I like the same strategy twelver does, but, and it's a big BUT, you are often having to now play catch up for a long time. Some guys manage to get some pretty impressive stacks against the fish who just rebuy and rebuy and rebuy. You need to be willing to gamble a bit to get your share.

Rebuys are pretty tough. One usually does the best when one has a very big stack. Hard to get a back stack early on in rebuys with one and one.
