My opponent was tight. I am wondering how many people bet the river.

No, I don't bet the river. I check call whatever he bets though. I hate trips, especially with a high kicker because you are likley ahead but never know when you fall behind.

Brian he rivered the str8, I bet this river, he doesnt have a boat already. He doesnt check behind on the turn with an already made boat, value bet time on the river. The only scary part is if he has K10xx and boated on the river if he did you pay him off.

i know he made the straight on the river. However, the guy hasn't shown much interest in the hand and JT is a common combo of cards for people to have (the J is paired on the board not K, rhound). I do not bet because I do not expect to get called very much, just raised. I check hoping I get a modest bet out of someone that would have folded.

Bet the river weakly if he's a LP station, check-call if he's somewhat bluffy/LAGGY. You should probably bet the turn too, nothing so far to suggest JA is not ahead.
