I went food shopping with my friend Laura today. It was a surprisingly good time. I think the part of marriage I am most looking forward to is the food shopping.

I am starting to see what I believe is the end of the poker expansion. It's reached its maximum popularity and now will decline. This doesn't bode well for young pros like me, but frankly I'm not too worried. Doyle was making a living playing poker when it wasn't too popular. Right now to make a living playing poker you don't have to be extraordinarily good, after the decline you probably will have to. Why not me? I don't see why if I put my mind to it, I can't beat tough games. I think I can. Enough babbling, I need some sleep.

I deposited $600 on Full Tilt so I could get the reload bonus and maybe start working towards getting a jersey. Well I guess that was just a foolish pipe dream cause I lost the whole $600 in about 20 minutes. My very first hand I got QJ and went 4 bets on a Q86 flop with some moron who had QT. The turn was a T and I bet and he went all in for $4 more. Oh neat. Then I capped with KK vs. AK and lost and AJ vs. TT and lost. It was awesome .

I'm just about ready to give up on Mrs. Xaston and the rest of the female race too. Looks like it's time to read some Calvin and Hobbes.
