So I've decided that I'm going to stick with NL Ring games at Stars for now...at least until I get my problem with TGC fixed. I'll be posting hands on a regular basis from now on, hopefully I will spot some of my own mistakes.

Villian was extremely loose, somewhat aggressive, bluffed a lot, and was generally terrible. He bought in for 200 and ran it up by hitting a 2-outer on the river after getting it allin on the turn and other outdraws. I once saw him checkraise a Q-5-5 flop with 10-7 in a raised pot and continued to bluff small til the river.

As you can probably tell I'm not happy about the way I played this hand AT ALL. My preflop limp is questionable, and my turn and river play are both subpar. I'm not quite sure what the right move would be though. Obviously I think I am ahead through every street here, but I'm pretty sure I could have gotten a lot more of his money in if I took a different line. So how would you play turn and river?

What is the particular line you are thinking of taking that would get more money in? I think I would have played that exactly the same way. A while ago I was working off a reload bonus on Empire and I started using this play where if I had a strong holding where I was very confident in having my opponent dominated I would just call their raise when they played back at me on the flop and then raise them on the expensive street (check raise or just raise depending on my position). It was a great way to make extra BBs at times and when I went back to playing NL it is a move that I have been occasionally incorporating into my play. When he comes over the top of you on the turn he is aggressive so you can be sure that he is going to lead into you again on the river to continue his bluff. I don't see what is wrong about giving him a little rope to hang himself with. It seems like he might have been trying to represent either the 7 or 5-6 for the straight, so if you come over the top of him on the turn I don't know that you make the extra $100 off of him on the river.

Genius I dont think you badly misplayed this hand, personally I would have reraised the turn to both get more money in the pot and also the 2nd fludh card hitting on the turn. I probaly would have raised to $64 on unit. First it gives him a chance to bluff off more money and it is an amount that he can call. Other than that I think your river play was good, I don't know how this bozo plays so I'm not sure if you could have made a bigger raise on the river. Some of these bad players, especially the ones that like to bluff will call an overbet on the river because it looks like you are trying to steal from them and they won't allow you to bluff them .
