just want to vent somewhere. this is the first month that i've been in the red. its a combination of tilt and bad luck. i tossed away a buy-in w/ JJ today when it was clear i was up against a bigger pair. i've lost a bunch with a flush when it was clear i was up against a bigger flush. i've had a bunch of big draws fail to materialize.

and my last 2 "big" hands:

flop a set of 9's on a J-9-7 flop. go to war against a villain w/ pocket Aces. turn: 10. river: 8. we split.

flop J-10-10 to my JJ. multiway action on the flop. turn: Q. one caller. river: Q. he bets small...i cant bring myself to fold getting 6:1. he flips up KQ.

anyway. this sucks. im not sure why...but my winrate keeps going down month after month after month. im learning more and presumably playing better poker as a result. and its not like im playing high stakes where the players are routinely tricky and good.

edit: flop J-8-4 rainbow to my BB J-8. i lead...get raised...3rd player cold-calls. i call. turn: 8. i lead 2/3 pot and they both fold? what the hell.

UA, I feel you. I am down almost 1k this month in 11 days. I need to have some good sessions, I havent had a losing month since last Februrary and that is my only losing month is the last 21. Remeber UA all it takes is one or two good sessions and your right back on top of your game. It can all change in one hand, so just be patient and wait to the monkeys will give you their money.

today was a good day, at least. won 3 buy-ins at the Prima $100NL 6-max. bringing my bankroll oh-so-close to $3000.

and then i lost $250 of it back. 2 hands in a row.....2 big drawing hands that both failed to materialize....against a villain that had sets both times. boo.

edit: and won that $250 back again and finished up $200 or so for the day. i need to stop playing stupid sometimes.

to top it all off:

i flop a set of 8's and turn a boat on a 3-flush 3-straight board. i lead and get raised and click a big reraise when i disconnect from the server. i dont think its my internet connection.....cause im happily browsing the web at the time.
