How do i get rid of the party poker thing on the screen? It is hard to read post w/ it on there? othre than this i like this forum and hope ATE doesnt come or hijackers

Okay, I am guessing you have a low screen resolution so the ad banners on the right of the forum overlap the forum area itself. This is the first complaint I've heard, but I imagined it might affect some people.

If that is the case, please accept my apologies. I will remove the adverts as soon as possible, and not reinstate them until I can get them to 'slide under' the main content so that your view of the forum is unimpeded.

Thankyou for pointing out the hijackers/ATE issue. Ice and myself (and any other moderators that emerge) decided from the start that we'd be very strict on the quality of posts here. I hope this is clear from the FAQ.

I've now amended the page so that the adverts will be occluded by the main page if your screen resolution or window is too small to show both.

I've tested it with Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

By the way, if you use IE, er.. don't. It's full of security holes and 'features' that spyware and malware can exploit.

Firefox is free (it's a variant of Mozilla), plus it's one of the fastest, safest browsers there is. I work for a financial institution, and we're not even allowed to use IE - we use Firefox!
