Hello all, I'd like to first say that I've been a UPFer for quite some time and have generally found Iceman's NL advice and analysis (along with that of Palman) to be the most theoretically sound and, for lack of a better word, correct, of all the posters. Kudos to you Ice for starting this site and I wish you the best of luck with it.
Several months ago I became more or less bored with poker, cashed out all my accounts, and didn't play a single hand for 3 months. For whatever reason I recently got the urge again, and was forced to start with a measely $100 BR. $25 NL on PP here I come! On to the hand:
I'm new to the table, no significant read on anyone. I'm in MP with QQ, folded to me. I open raise to $2.50. CO goes all in for $13.55. BB ($47 stack) calls $13.05. I contemplate folding, but this is $25 NL on PP, the bottom of the barrel, right? There's a very good chance I'm far ahead, and a very small chance I'm far behind. I move all in for my remaining $24, BB calls. CO had Kh6h, BB had AsKs, and neither hand received help. Did I overplay this? How many of you would have folded out the QQ?
