Played a short session yesterday, real short, and made $274. Today I put in a real session (read: an hour and fifteen whopping minutes) and made $1017.26.

I´d like to watch some limit games. For some reason, I´v never been able to beat the limit games, at least not winning at a reasonable rate. Say 1bb/100 or more. Being a NL player I really consider that breaking even.

So I'm trudging along clobbering 5 tables of $10/$20 (6 max) all at the same time. I've got 3 of a kind 9s with K9 at one table and top two pair with KJ at another table and then BAM. My connection dies. There goes about $300. Oh well. I ended the session on that note cause I probably would have gone on tilt because of it. Still made $986 for the session so I can't complain. My total for the month is now $3,443.88 which means I actually managed to reach my monthly nut despite the -$4,500 start. I also probably just cleared the $225 partypoker bonus (I won't know until tommorow), but if I didn't I'm no more than 250 hands more away.

Lost $243.50 in $10/$20 (6 max) and $215 in the $200,000 Saturday tournament where I basically folded for two hours and then took a few hits and pushed with T6s in the cutoff for 9xBB and was called by 77 and didn't improve.

I won $531.75 when I woke up at $10/$20 and knocked out the $225 bonus Party offered me. I was eager to play the $100,000 guarenteed and got off to a real good start in it. I doubled up with AK vs. QQ early and was picking up a LOT of hands. My table was super weak tight and I was stealing blinds and small pots with NO resistance. Then I raised KTs and got re-raised slightly and called, flop was T52 and I doubled up JJ. Shortly thereafter I had J6o in the big blind and the flop was J45 and the SB bet and I called (no limpers). The turn was a 3 he checked, I bet and he moved in and I called (it was not much more at all), and he had A2 and had nailed his gutshot, I missed my 7 outter and just like that I was out.

Today was my dad's birthday so I didn't get to play too much (not that I ever do play much), but I did bang out a solid 1.5 hour session making a nice $501.50 along the way. November has turned into a pretty decent month. As it stands right now I'm up $4,243.63 for the month. Next month will be a LOT of christmas shopping (and in turn a lot of spending) and family + friend time. I'm gonna try to use more of my spare time playing in December than I do now, since it will be scarce then, and I'd like to end the year on a good note.

Mrs. Xaston's birthday is in February, so I sorta have a trifecta of presents in the not so distant future to buy (christmas, and if things go well, birthday and valentines day). I'm doing an awful lot of talking to her best friend Megan in order to determine what direction to look for the presents. She proposed a "set" (not 3 of a kind like I thought). This would be a bracelet, pair of earrings, and a ring. One for each occasion. So far this is the front runner for ring:





Amethyst is her birthstone. It's white gold with some diamonds on the side and the amethyst in the middle. MVP and Mecos voted against the idea of a ring for christmas considering the lack of an actual relationship between she and I. MVP seemed more worried about the "Theory of Escalating Presents" which I don't see a problem with. The ring is not particularly expensive (although I think it's still nice and looks expensive) but still nice. I figure in a year's time I'll be crushing $100/$200 so I should easily be able to, with a little creativity, escalate to bigger and better presents. But I am a little apprehensive about buying boyfriendesque gifts without actually being her boyfriend. I talked to her friend, and a couple female friends of mine, and they all seem to think jewelry is a very good thing, so who knows. I'm just a young little boy, anyone here with a couple more years and woman (and STDs in some of ya'lls cases) under the belt feel free to offer your two cents.
