During my session tonight I tried to take advantage of my tight image and tried a few semibluffs. I was successful picking up a fair amount of medium sized pots semibluffing where I basically played it like a set. Provided you have a tight image and you are playing against good, tight/aggro players this seems to be a good money-maker. Here are a couple examples:

First hand: I have [9s] in the CO. I limp after two MP limpers and we see the flop 5-handed. Flop comes Q-7-3 with one spade, and MP (longevityu) bets out $14. I should fold here but I call and we are headsup. He's got $400 I have him covered. Turn brings and he bets $24 into $48 pot. I raise to $70 and he folds. I'm pretty sure he either had QJ or KQ but the Ace brought a great (semi)bluffing opportunity with what was probably the worst hand.

Second hand: I have [8d] UTG+1. The entire table is deepstacked so I limp after UTG limper. 2 more limpers and 6 of us take the flop of [5d][4d]. Checked to LP (soros) who bets out $24. I've got $800 and he's got me covered. Folded to me and there's only 1 guy left to act after me. I raise to $60 and LP calls. Turn brings an offsuit 8 and I bet 100 into a pot of 144. He folds. I couldn't call here out of position but I didn't want to fold because we were both so deepstacked. I wanted my small raise to make him think I had a set and at the same time I wanted to set myself up for a turn bluff if he just called. He is fairly aggressive and I was pretty sure that he would re-raise with a set, so when he just called I was almost sure he had AJ. WIth the turn bringing additional outs for me I thought it was a great spot to continue my semibluff and I'm pretty sure most good players will fold their AJ in that spot.

Thoughts?

Yeah in my limited time playing Stars 2/4 I've definately noticed him being one of the better regulars. Iceman since you know a bit more about this game who else should I specifically look out for? Any other regulars I should stay away from?

Twin-Caracus is dangerous, but he makes some very fishy plays also.
Shani is tough ( I think i may only be playing $5/$10 now though)
