I was thinking of raising the flop to like $2, if i get called, check the turn if I don't fill and try to showdown cheap. Do you like that play better than this call down?

I would raise pre flop. If not pre flop, then certainly on the flop. If not on the flop, then certainly on the turn. If not on the turn, possibly on the river (although now its just to try and fold out a possible A9, whereas the previous streets it was for value)

Yeah I like to raise that flop, it doesn't look to me like his bet is screaming A9.

On the river I think having a raise at it would be smart, his betting looks like he wants to show down cheap. Of course if he's the typical 25plo calling station you can probably forget that.
