I lost $29 today. I got beat on the river in a couple
of key hands, otherwise I would have been ahead.

Sets flopped were 0 for 8, below average.

Flush draws made were 1 for 3, about average.

Hoping to make a big dent to get to the next level, I
decided to play quite a bit this extended holiday
weekend. But I started out really badly and didn't
feel like reporting daily on my bad luck, so I decided
to make one report for the extended period.

I ended down for the period $234.

The daily totals were as follows:

Wed : -293
Thur: -104
Fri : + 87
Sat : + 80
Sun : - 4

One of the items that I keep track of manually is good
river and turn cards, against bad river and turn
cards. I had much more bad cards than good cards for
the period as follows:

Good river cards: 14
Bad river cards : 24
Excess of bad river cards over good: 10

Good turn cards : 14
Bad turn cards : 17
Excess of bad turn cards over good: 3

I estimate that the extra bad cards probably cost me
between $300 and $400.

In addition, I only flopped 9 sets out of 88 pocket
pairs. The normal number would be 11 sets, leaving me
2 short. Interestingly enough, I won all of my flopped
sets except the last one, in which I had a set of
queens and suffered a bad beat on the river to lose a
$60 pot to a straight.

Flush draws were above average with 8 flushs out of 17
draws.

On the good side, I'm playing a little at stars and making a little money there which I am not really keeping track of.

im in pretty much the exact same situation u are in playing 2/4 every day and breaking even. Im sure u will come good. Ive noticed the move from 1/2 to 2/4 has been the longest and hardest to adjust to so far for me. Just keep playing tight solid poker and eventually odds have to work in your favour.

2/4 limit hold'em full tables

I started out the month of December really bad, down
as much as $275 after having losing days the first 3
days of the month. As a consequence I decided not to
report until I was up for the month.

I'm happy to report that I made $69 today, and I am
now up $22 for the month. So the reports will start
coming again. Don't know if they will be every day
though. We'll see.

Today I finally made a set that held up to win. I
think that it is the first time this week. Previously
I had two sets beaten by straights, once on the flop
and once on the river.

In addition to the winnings below, I also cleared two
bonuses totaling $270.
