May I just explain some background on this?

Adam made a desparate post asking for money and then followed it up with 'shame on all BTP members who did not respond' (I paraphrase). I didn't find this acceptable but Adam won't respect my viewpoint on this.

Adam is also upset that he does not have an advert for his services on the BTP home page, which I do not want to furnish him with.

I like Adam, but he's put me in a difficult position like this more than once now.

I'll give him a little while to cool off before any decisions are made.

I think Adam's Forum would be better suited to someone else. I personally am tired of his whining and attitude. Grant this section to someone who will offer good advice and is a constant winner in poker games. My vote is for the unknown player, if he wants it.

I'd have to disagree. Adam's section is one of the best on this site, if you don't mind his personality, which I don't. Although I do agree that a section for TUP would rock as well... I don't see why we couldn't have more than one section like that.

That said, if you're still leaving, Good luck out there Adam! Hope to see you on another forum somewhere in the future.

Adam, you will be missed by many of us on BTP, however, we know where to find you, and I'm sure your work will now frequent the "Reading List" section of this site.

As for kingsalami, I noticed you joined today and your first post is a flame of Adam. You're tired of Adam's whining and attitude the first day you joined the site? BTP doesn't really need that as your contribution to the site.

For those of you not familiar with Adam from UPF or other forums, you should be informed that he has said "goodbye", threatened to leave, etc., about 50 times more often than he has actually left a site. I wouldn't worry, he will stick around no matter how upset he gets about things.

Sorry, ATE, that you're not liking your treatment at BTP, but I think maybe you are getting too picky. Focus on the poker!
