Well, I just spent 2 hours getting raped by the $10/$20 morons. Managed to lose a respectable $653.50, but I did clear the $100 bonus

I'm starting to lose confidence in my game. I really can't seem to string together wins with any sort of consistency anymore. At times like these I feel almost as though I'm really nothing special and I just ran real real good for about 5 months. Mecos was sweating my play a bit today though and he thinks I'm running pretty shitty so I guess this could just be that variance monster people always talk about. The long run is very very long. I'll check pokertracker and see what my WTSD and W$SD stats for recently look like compared to the past few months.

There definately seems to be less complete donks at $10/$20 (6 max) these days, but still certainly bad enough play that I should be winning.

Just finished up a 2 and a half hour session of $10/$20 (6 max) where not much happend at first, then I got my ass kicked and found myself down $800. Then I stopped taking bad beats and starting hitting some hands and picking up pots and found myself up about $400 or $500. Then right at the end in a span of 20 hands I lost with KK twice, JJ, and AA and I called it a session and booked a pitiful $77.14 win. A fucking waste of my time. When will this shit turn around and let me make some actual money? Who knows.....

I played 2 more cash game sessions and the Super Thursday. I lost money in all 3. I'm on a downward spiral and am losing faith. This sure is fun

you are almost 200BB down since it all started, right? How is your bankroll? Can you afford to stay losing at those levels? havent you consider looking for weaker games in smaller stakes?

i agree with you about those 20s but dood. Ya gotta admit that you dont see play as mizorly as that guy with the KJ gutshot against your AQ TP (remember, when they guy just wouldnt stop raising on every street?) Im convinced that the 20s are better, but the problem is that when you run bad in them you fire off for a pretty good figure, and that always sucks balls. Also, i finally booked a solid win tonight, so im in the mood to post, and i havent posted in your journal inna bit, so here i am!

I just played for 15 minutes on partypoker (I might have played longer, unfortunately after the 15 minutes my account balance was $4.06). In this fifteen minutes my TT ran into JJ on a JT83 board with no flush. I ran into AA twice. I lost with QQ to AK twice. I flopped aces with AT vs. A5 and ended up chopping due to a board pair and a Q.
-$1200.

The weirdest thing about this chaotic losing streak is how much money I still have. Despite this run, poker has been very good to me and I am very confident I am a winning player. All I can do is make correct decisions, I believe very strongly that this will turn around soon enough.

My sister got back from Peru today, she's in the Peace Corps. and has been gone for over a year I think. She is only back for a few weeks then she goes back for I believe 8 more months before she's back for good. On that note I'm gonna head over to my moms to see her.
