I don’t think I played at all well to be honest. You probably heard the screaming baby in the background – I have a heavy cold and very little sleep recently.
Although I was getting 2:1 on my money with the JTs hand I still think that it was a pretty reckless call even against the table maniac. I was OOP vs that LAG and was lucky to end up a winner against him (when I caught the ignorant end of a str8 on the river and it held). I think I was guilty of focusing on him too much and being too impatient to get into big pots with him with non-premium holdings and was lucky not to really suffer for it.
The rest of the table I played against OK I think – I was pleased to lay down top pair to the overpair read at a cost of only $2 and liked my K5 raise to push off the weak UTG limper late on.
It would have been hard not to stack Mr. Pushy with my set of KKK, given that he called my $5 raise from me pre-flop with 65s and hit 2 pair on the flop – I doubt anyone with a half stack (or even a full stack) wouldn’t end up all-in in that situation. I didn’t even have the nuts when I pushed as the str8 draw was out.
In fact I thought my play was so bad I was hesitant at putting out the vid to be honest, but I guess it makes up for in PAHUD use, honesty and English accent what it lacks in skills
