Activity for 12/14/05
2/4 limit hold'em full tables

Another good day today with wins on both sites.

I started first at the alternate site for a little
while. I was dealt about about 50 hands and won almost
every hand I played which I estimate was about 10.
Played until the table broke and then quit. I won $131
here.

Some examples of good hands.

I got pocket AA. There was a 4 on the flop and another
4 on the turn. I got reraised on the turn and called.
The river was a glorious ace, and I won a nice pot.

Then I got pocket KK, which held up to win unimproved.

Then I got pocket 22, and flopped quads. Two people
called me on the turn and one on the river and I won
another nice pot.

Then I had Ad Jd and won unimproved.

Then I had AK in the big blind and an ace flopped and
I won.

I also won a few other hands during this run. I
haven't had a positive run like this for a long time.
Those runs are really nice when they happen.

Later I played at the main site and won $50. This was
an up and down session, but I won two hands at the end
to end up. The two hands were not spectacular, as I
had basically nothing in either hand until the river
when I paired up. Once with a pair of kings, and the
other time with a pair of tens. Fortunately both hands
were winners.

Of course I also had some bad luck when I had pocket
AA and lost to trip kings on the flop. And I had
pocket QQ and lost to A9 when an ace flopped.

I don't really mind the bad luck as long as I have
some good luck thrown in also, which is what I had
today.

BTW... Not sure if this just happens to me, but do you start to dread AA,KK,QQ type hands after a while...? It seems like 80% of my losses come w/ big pocket pairs, while I'm smokin w/ 46o and crap like that...

I lost $10 on the main site and won $34 on the
alternative site.

I actually don't know how I ended ahead, because I
kept losing in hands that I had my opponents dominated
preflop. Some examples:

1. 88 against 87 lost to a straight on the turn.

2. AK against A9, lost when a nine flopped.

3. QQ against Q5, lost to a straight on the river.

4. KK against K8, lost to a flush on the river.

But somehow I managed to finish up.

I never had pocket AA all day, nor did I have a set.

I made one flush draw.

I had lots of straight draws and missed them all.

Sets flopped were 0 for 13.

The last hand that I played I had AQ under the gun and
raised. I ended up on the river against two opponents
and won with A Q unimproved. I bet the flop and the
turn and the river was checked around.

I also won two hands with AK high against bluffers.

I cleared my final bonus at the alternative site.

Activity for 12/17/05 through 12/20/05

I had a really bad day on Saturday, December 17. I was
down $163 at the main site and down $50 at the
alternative site. It was so bad that I don't feel like
reporting until I made up some or all of the deficit.
Fortunately, I made back all but $34 in the subsequent
3 days.

Activity for 12/21/05

Lost $12 on the main site and won $24 on the alternate
site.

On the main site, I didn't get very good cards and for
the most part the flop was missing me. But I did get a
pocket KK hand to hold up to win.

Lost a few hands where I dominated my opponent. For
example:

AK against A9, and a 9 flopped and I lost.

J8 against J2 and a 2 flopped and I lost.

Sets were 0 for 7, below average.

I had one flush draw and missed.

Activity for 12/22/05

Today I finished in the positive by a little again. Up
$15 on the main site and $1 on the alternate site.

No sets and no flushs again. I was down early, but
made in comeback in part because pocket AA held up to
win.

I suffered losses in the usual hands that I dominated.
For example:

Ah Kh against A8 lost when the flop contained A8.

QJ against Q9 lost when the flop contained a nine.

Activity for 12/23/05
2/4 limit hold'em full tables

After being down as much as $141 on the main site. I
made an amazing comeback to finish up $20. I won $9 on
the alternate site.

During my downturn the following happened:

I had a set of sixes beat by a straight on the turn.

I had AT beat by A8 when the flop contained both an
ace and an eight.

QQ was beat by 5h 4h by a straight on the turn.

TT was beat by AA. I didn't play this hand very well.

QQ lost to AK. I could have folded earlier and didn't.

TT was beat by KT when a king flopped.

AK was beat by K7, when a seven came on the turn.

AK was beat by 66.

KK against TT was beat when a ten came on the river.
The hand was capped preflop. This hand was
aggravating.

Finally my luck started to change with the following
events:

I had QQ and made a set on the flop, and a full house
on the turn. The river gave my opponent a flush to the
ace and the raises were capped on the river. I won a
nice pot.

I won a bluff with AJ unimproved.

I had AT. An ace came on the flop and a ten on the
river and I won.

I made a straight flush with 6h 5h in the big blind
and won.

I had KT and flopped a straight and won.

I had AT (again). A ten came on the flop and an ace on
the turn and I won.

I had 7s 6s and raised preflop. I was rewarded with a
runner-runner flush that was completed on the river,
and won.

I had A6 and the flop contained an ace and a six. I
split the pot with another A6.

I had AK and flopped a king which held up to win.

Sets flopped were 3 for 19, above average. I lost the
first set that I made, but won the other two.
