Some of my old school thoughts certainly seem to go counter to some thinking on this site and others but usually more than one way to skin a squirrel and lively debate from both or more corners can do nothing but help create better, more thoughtful players which is a good thing as long as they are not populating my tables

With that said I guess the next thing to say is I hate phucking losing and hate it even worse when the donkeys take my duckets without a chance to get them back but sometimes that shit just happens. I had a guy call my raise with a 63o from the BB which if you know me I can't say anything against that but then he proceeds to call on the flop with NO DRAW, NO PAIR, NO OVERCARD TO THE FLOP and then hits running 3's on the turn and river

On another front I was playing Martins today and I have reloaded for teh additional 200 euros for 600 VIP points that needs to be cleared within a 14 day time frame. It clears concurrently with the other deposit bonuses so in effect you are getting 320 euros bonus for 600 raked hands and sports fans if you don't have a calculator handy that equates to . If there has ever been a nicer bonus out there on this scale I certainly have not been privy to it. They had a 3-6 euro game going for a while so I managed to rack up 200 VIP points in a little over 1h30m with some 1-2 limit tables going as well. I managed to get raped at the 3-6 table for 106 and change euros while the game lasted but cleared more than that in bonuses for the same time frame.

And on even better news sometimes you just can't wait for Christmas to make buttermilk cornbread dressing. I have had a hankering for this for a month and just decided that today I was going to put it together. Already got the cornbread made now time for the other stuff. Have a nice Sunday evening all.

Knocked off a short morning session before starting to work on some moss stuff.

Decided to put in a late night session to knock out one of the Cryptos and ran just as bad as you could ever want to run for the first 30 minutes with gut shots and worse catching me on the turn and river quite often. Managed to turn things around in the last half and recovered most of the losses while finishing off the 25 quid bonus. That damn Crypto software is super fast now. In the old days I might have gotten in 200 hands on the 5 tables in one hours time now I got in more than double that.

Got my 1 hour morning session in for a little profit.

Decided to work some more on that martins reload and had a real sucky 5-10 6 max session as the usally suspects (three outers, no draw no pair runners and various and sundry other things) had me down about 300 euros early on. Managed to claw back to a little under 100 euros down for the 1.5 hour session and cut a pretty good dent out of the reload bonus so not all was lost.

Mother phucker what a sickening bunch of beats. Played just a little at Martins in a short handed game which broke then sat down at 2 cryptos and 2 primas and just got phucking slaughtered. I must have lost to at least 10 rivered straights in the span of 1 hour and that was a bright spot as I dropped 63 BIG BETS in the span of 60 minutes 4 tabling. Thank god for bonuses. I hate phucking prima and once this last bonus is cleared they can kiss my ass with their little micro selection buttons.

Well a very short 10 minute night session playing 3 tables of 24 euro limit 6 max on Martins netted my 88.5 euros plus another 16 or so in bonuses. Need another 150 raked hands to clear the reload. Going to try and take care of that tomorrow so I can really take it even more easier than I have been on the poker scene until after Christmas.

Yeah I know but they clear pretty damn fast at 36 and the 12 games usually suck pretty bad. There are some serious poor players on those short handed tables but when you are running like shit it just doesn't much matter. I had the bright idea that I would put in one more session this year in order to finish up all my monthly pending bonuses which would only take 1.5 hours or so but I just couldn't make it after I got another TPTK hand snapped off by a heads up flush draw on river. Just no love at all today at the tables. Frustrating as hell. I am going to put in one short session tomorrow morning to finish up and then it is going to be break time for the old pierster for a while from the cyber felt as I am running like shit, not playing that well and just phucking need a break.

Yeah unfortunately or I guess fortunately that total includes the bonuses and rake back as well. Pretty scary thought to how badly I ran this year without those two things added in but that is one of the beauties of online poker. Honestly I don't see any problem with even a halfway decent player having trouble making 25K (playing 1-2 limit) a year if they can muscle up 25 hours a week and if they take advantage of the bonuses and get some sort of rake back. Not going to put you in the Fortune 500 but for living in South America it provides a very nice livelihood with enough leisure to enjoy life.
