Just bought PT (after playing poker for over a year online ... yikes) and played around with GT+ last night.

Man, that was fun!

Thanks Excession, for all the help with those articles of yours. They were of tremendous benefit.

A question I have ... I used your NL autorating and gleefully watched as all the anonymous faces were turned into cute icons after 20 hands ... but can this infomation be relied on?

Over such a short span of hands, virtually anything can come about. So I thought I'd just data mine Party for the next few weeks, then use that info ...

But then the question arose, people progress. The fish at day one, might be a tight solid player by day 20.

So the question I have is ...

Can we rely on short term numbers to give us reliable tells, or if not ... how many hands before we have a decent read on someone. And once we have signiicant data on someone, at what point do we lose current accuracy.

I'm sure this has been addressed before. Many thanks for your patience.

Oh, and one last question. After I do some data mining ... is there some feature in PT where I can simply select the top 50 worst players and cut and paste them into the search function at Party.

Again, my apologies for the newbie questions.
