So, after beating up on the limit tables for a while, I decide to dip my toe in the pot-limit pool, and get this hand -
Omaha Hi $0.25-$0.50 PL (real money), hand #1,608,929,787
Table Augusta, 19 Dec 2005 2:39 PM ET
Seat 1: Twaiin
Seat 2: linnea1980
Seat 3: 5xchampion
Seat 4: mattson
Seat 6: rocknrollin
Seat 7: stickdude [ 3D,7H,3H,2H ]
Seat 8: minaki
Seat 9: GirlsWhoSpit
Seat 10: Chiro4Life0
ANTES/BLINDS
rocknrollin posts blind ($0.25), stickdude posts blind ($0.25), Chiro4Life0 posts blind ($0.25), mattson posts blind ($0.25).
PRE-FLOP
minaki calls $0.25, GirlsWhoSpit calls $0.25, Chiro4Life0 checks, Twaiin calls $0.25, linnea1980 calls $0.25, 5xchampion calls $0.25, mattson checks, rocknrollin checks, stickdude checks.
Not a starting hand I would normally play, but I'm in the blind...
FLOP [board cards AS,5C,4C ]
rocknrollin checks, stickdude bets $0.75, minaki calls $0.75, GirlsWhoSpit calls $0.75, Chiro4Life0 folds, Twaiin folds, linnea1980 calls $0.75, 5xchampion bets $6.75, mattson folds, rocknrollin folds, stickdude calls $6, minaki calls $6, GirlsWhoSpit calls $6, linnea1980 folds.
And I flop the nut straight. Any reason not to call the $6.75 bet here? Should I have re-raised, even with the 2-flush on the board.?
TURN [board cards AS,5C,4C,3C ]
stickdude checks, minaki bets $15, GirlsWhoSpit folds, 5xchampion folds, stickdude ????
Not a card I wanted to see, even if it gives me a set with more outs to a full house. Of course, it's entirely possible that a full house is no good here.
So, what would you guys do here? If I call this, it leaves me with $5, so I'm basically pot-committed at that point.
